Ruach Israel is All About Relationship.
One of the greatest, yet often forgotten truths of scripture is the “relationship of mutual blessing.” Israel was destined to bless the nations of the world. God tells obedient Abraham: “and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed.” (Gen.22:18)
Reciprocally, the theme of the peoples of the world blessing the Jewish people is found throughout scripture.
For example, while speaking in reference to Abraham’s descendants, God exhorts, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (Gen 12:3)
Urging Gentile believers in Yeshua to show appreciation in practical ways to first century Messianic Jews living in Jerusalem, the Apostle Paul says: “For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings (Romans 15: 27).”
Keeping in mind this precious relationship of mutual blessing, a “heavenly win-win,” so to speak, is how our synagogue can be a blessing to your church community.
